Dave Ramsey on the Golden Rule of Treating Employees
Tim Sanders (www.TimSanders.com) interviews Dave Ramsey on his values as an employer of a company: Financial Peace University. The two are backstage at a Dave Ramsey show in Portland OR in Nov 2010. Sanders was getting ready to give a talk as a special guest on Ramsey’s all day program for 500 local business leaders. Ramsey’s advice: Treat people well, they treat you well. He tells a touching story about one of his employees that had a health crisis with her son – and the company paid her to take care of him!

Comments on Dave Ramsey on the Golden Rule of Treating Employees
Great questions and, of course, wonderful responses from DR. One thing I’ve always loved about his advice is not that it’s novel and unheard-of … it’s COMMON SENSE! Unfortunately, most of us have been trained to think otherwise, but when you hear it, you just know “hey, that makes perfect sense.” Thanks for sharing!
i’m around Dave’s son (Daniel Ramsey)’s age and I’m doing better than I deserve. You’re probably gonna think I’m weird when I say this, but I did not get a new car last year when I graduated high school and I don’t intend to ever own a new car. I’ll stick with a two, three or four year old car. The choice of thrift people.
